Statistics show professional staging sells homes faster
Home staging works! In fact, it’s an art. By highlighting a home’s strengths and unique features, professional home staging helps prospective buyers improve their perceived livability of the home and ultimately reduces the time the house sits on the market. Why? Because buyers imagine themselves in the space the minute they walk it.
According to the National Association of Realtors, for every $100 invested in staging, the potential return is $400.
Home staging is not decorating or interior design
When you decorate your home for dwelling, it reflects your personal style. Staging a home for sale is the act of preparing and showcasing the home properly to appeal to a large pool of buyers. Staging can truly transform a home from “blah” to “wow”. The techniques used in staging appeal to the emotions of the buyer by highlighting its best features and defining the spaces.
Stage to Sell
According to a 2017 report from the National Association of Realtors, 62 percent of sellers’ agents say that staging a home will decrease the amount of time it spends on the market.
The survey states that 77 percent of buyers’ agents believe staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as their future home.
Small investment will save you thousands
Staging is a small investment that can save you thousands of dollars. A study conducted by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) found that on average homes that were not staged spent 184 days on market, compared to homes that were staged, at just 41 days. Homes that were staged prior to going on the market spent 90 percent less time on the market at an average of 23 days.
Our five star homes sell quickly, a third faster than the average home for sale. That’s less time on the market and more money in your hands.
